Gloucester County Updates On COVID-19
As of Sunday, July 12th Gloucester County has conducted 26,489 total tests. Of these cases, 23,733 have come back negative. One case has been moved out of County. Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 case count is now 2,756 and has 186 COVID-19 related deaths. Today, Gloucester County has an additional 11 cases to report. Of those cases:
The 2746th case is a 52-year-old female from Washington Twp.
The 2747th case is a 19-year-old female from Mantua.
The 2748th case is a 26-year-old female from Washington Twp.
The 2749th case is a 28-year-old female from Woolwich.
The 2750th case is a 22-year-old female from Greenwich Twp.
The 2751st case is a 39-year-old male from Westville.
The 2752nd case is a 44-year-old female from Washington Twp.
The 2753rd case is a 30-year-old female from Logan.
The 2754th case is an 18-year-old female from Washington Twp.
The 2755th case is a 65-year-old female from Deptford.
The 2756th case is a 45-year-old female from Woodbury.
The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had. At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise. Social distancing is critical in flattening the curve and reducing cases.
