Gloucester County Updates On COVID-19


As of Monday, October 12th Gloucester County has conducted 66,014 total tests. Of these cases, 60,960 have come back negative. Two cases have been moved out of county. Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 case count is now 5,054 Today, Gloucester County has an additional 10 cases to report. Of those cases:
The 5045th case is a 20-year-old male from Glassboro.
The 5046th case is a 20-year-old female from Glassboro.
The 5047th case is a 9-year-old female from Washington Twp.
The 5048th case is a 72-year-old male from Woodbury Heights.
The 5049th case is a 19-year-old male from Washington Twp.
The 5050th case is a 39-year-old female from Clayton.
The 5051st case is a 25-year-old male from Washington Twp.
The 5052nd case is a 59-year-old female from West Deptford.
The 5053rd case is a 19-year-old male from Glassboro.
The 5054th case is a 21-year-old female from Glassboro.
Gloucester County has 224 COVID-19 related deaths. The 224th patient death was an 84-year-old female from East Greenwich Twp.
The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had. At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise. Social distancing is critical in flattening the curve and reducing cases. New Jersey residents can call 2-1-1 or 1-800-962-1253 with questions. The call center is open 24/7 and has multi-language capacity.
