Gloucester County Updates On COVID-19


As of Sunday, October 4th Gloucester County has conducted 62,549 total tests. Of these cases, 57,822 have come back negative. Two cases have been moved out of County. Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 case count is now 4,727 and has 223 COVID-19 related deaths. Today, Gloucester County has an additional 15 cases to report. Of those cases:
The 4713th case is a 62-year-old female from Mantua.
The 4714th case is a 77-year-old male from Washington Twp.
The 4715th case is an 89-year-old male from Monroe Twp.
The 4716th case is a 21-year-old female from West Deptford.
The 4717th case is a 1-year-old female from Pitman.
The 4718th case is a 19-year-old female form Franklin Twp.
The 4719th case is a 39-year-old female from Glassboro.
The 4720th case is a 1-year-old male from Westville.
The 4721st case is a 31-year-old male from Westville.
The 4722nd case is a 43-year-old male from Mantua.
The 4723rd case is a 22-year-old female from Glassboro.
The 4724th case is a 49-year-old male from Harrison Twp.
The 4725th case is a 27-year-old male from Greenwich Twp.
The 4726th case is a 73-year-old male from Washington Twp.
The 4727th case is a 22-year-old male form West Deptford.

The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had. At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise. Social distancing is critical in flattening the curve and reducing cases. New Jersey residents can call 2-1-1 or 1-800-962-1253 with questions. The call center is open 24/7 and has multi-language capacity. Please note that the call center is not able to diagnose or give medical recommendations.
