Gloucester County Updates On COVID-19


As of Saturday, September 26th Gloucester County has conducted 59,687 total tests. Of these cases, 55,133 have come back negative.Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 case count is now 4,554 and has 219 COVID-19 related deaths. Two cases have been moved out of County. Today, Gloucester County has an additional 23 cases to report. Of those cases:

The 4533rd case is a 29-year-old female from Monroe Twp.
The 4534th case is a 46-year-old female from Glassboro.
The 4535th case is a 28-year-old female from Franklin Twp.
The 4536th case is a 19-year-old male from Washington Twp.
The 4537th case is an 18-year-old male from Pitman.
The 4538th case is a 34-year-old male from Mantua.
The 4539th case is a 21-year-old female from Glassboro.
The 4540th case is a 19-year-old female from Glassboro.
The 4541st case is a 40-year-old female from West Deptford.
The 4542nd case is a 60-year-old female from Washington Twp.
The 4543rd case is a 20-year-old female from Glassboro.
The 4544th case is an 89-year-old male from Logan.
The 4545th case is a 20-year-old male from Monroe Twp.
The 4546th case is a 62-year-old female from Deptford.
The 4547th case is a 51-year-old male from Deptford.
The 4548th case is a 59-year-old female from Elk.
The 4549th case is a 25-year-old female from Elk.
The 4550th case is a 23-year-old male from Deptford.
The 4551st case is a 26-year-old female from Deptford.
The 4552nd case is a 58-year-old male from East Greenwich.
The 4553rd case is a 58-year-old female from East Greenwich.
The 4554th case is a 20-year-old male from West Deptford.

The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had. At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise. Social distancing is critical in flattening the curve and reducing cases. New Jersey residents can call 2-1-1 or 1-800-962-1253 with questions.
