Gloucester County Updates On COVID-19


As of Wednesday, September 23, 2020 Gloucester County has conducted 58,407 total tests. Of these cases, 53,966 have come back negative. Two cases have been moved out of County. Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 case count is now 4,441 and has 219 COVID-19 related deaths. Today, Gloucester County has an additional 26 cases to report. Of those cases:

The 4417th case is a 21-year-old male from Washington Twp.
The 4418th case is a 20-year-old female from Glassboro.
The 4419th case is a 24-year-old female from Franklin Twp.
The 4420th case is a 21-year-old female from Glassboro.
The 4421st case is a 53-year-old female rom East Greenwich.
The 4422nd case is a 37-year-old female from Woodbury.
The 4423rd case is a 27-year-old female from Franklin Twp.
The 4424th case is a 56-year-old female from East Greenwich.
The 4425th case is a 23-year-old female from Glassboro.
The 4426th case is a 57-year-old female from Glassboro.
The 4427th case is a 21-year-old male from Glassboro.
The 4428th case is a 76-year-old male from Washington Twp.
The 4429th case is a 21-year-old female from Woolwich.
The 4430th case is a 2-year-old male from Woodbury.
The 4431st case is a 26-year-old female from Woodbury.
The 4432nd case is a 17-year-old male from Harrison Twp.
The 4433rd case is a 21-year-old female from Glassboro.
The 4434th case is a 42-year-old male from Washington Twp.
The 4435th case is a 38-year-old male from Deptford.
The 4436th case is a 1-year old male from Monroe Twp.
The 4437th case is a 34-year-old female from Glassboro.
The 4438th case is a 66-year-old male form Harrison Twp.

The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had. At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise. Social distancing is critical in flattening the curve and reducing cases. New Jersey residents can call 2-1-1 or 1-800-962-1253 with questions.
