Gloucester County Updates On COVID-19
As of Saturday, September 5th Gloucester County has conducted 42,903 total tests. Of these cases, 39,084 have come back negative. One case has been moved out of County.Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 case count is now 3,819. Today, Gloucester County has an additional 27 cases to report. Of those cases:

The 3798th case is an 18-year-old female from Deptford.
The 3799th case is a 19-year-old female from West Deptford.
The 3800th case is an 18-year-old female form Pitman.
The 3801st case is a 17-year-old female from Pitman.
The 3802nd case is an 18-year-old female from Washington Twp.
The 3803rd case is a 19-year-old female from Washington Twp.
The 3804th case is a 58-year-old female from Woolwich.

Gloucester County has 216 COVID-19 related deaths. The 216th patient death was an 80-year-old female from National Park
The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had. At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise. Social distancing is critical in flattening the curve and reducing cases. New Jersey residents can call 2-1-1 or 1-800-962-1253 with questions.
