Gloucester County Updates On COVID-19


As of Thursday, September 3rd Gloucester County has conducted 42,731 total tests. Of these cases, 38,970 have come back negative. One case has been moved out of County. Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 case count is now 3,761 and has 213 COVID-19 related deaths. Today, Gloucester County has an additional 20 cases to report. Of those cases:
The 3742nd case is a 20-year-old female from Glassboro.
The 3743rd case is a 21-year-old female from Glassboro.
The 3744th case is a 37-year-old female from Mantua.
The 3745th case is a 21-year-old female from Glassboro.
The 3746th case is a 21-year-old male from Glassboro.
The 3747th case is a 56-year-old male from Glassboro.
The 3748th case is a 26-year-old male from Mantua.
The 3749th case is a 53-year-old male from Elk.
The 3750th case is a 26-year-old female from Pitman.
The 3751st case is a 43-year-old female from Deptford.
The 3752nd case is a 35-year-old male from Greenwich Twp.
The 3753rd case is a 22-year-old male from Glassboro.
The 3754th case is a 34-year-old male from Monroe Twp.
The 3755th case is a 24-year-old male from Pitman.
The 3756th case is an 18-year-old female from Mantua.
The 3757th case is a 57-year-old male from East Greenwich.
The 3758th case is a 53-year-old female from Monroe Twp.
The 3759th case is a 19-year-old female from Glassboro.
The 3760th case is a 20-year-old male from Washington Twp.
The 3761st case is a 19-year-old female from Washington Twp.

The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had. At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise. Social distancing is critical in flattening the curve and reducing cases. New Jersey residents can call 2-1-1 or 1-800-962-1253 with questions.
