Gloucester County Updates On COVID-19


As of Monday, August 31st Gloucester County has conducted 42,494 total tests. Of these cases, 38,788 have come back negative. Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 case count is now 3,706 and has 213 COVID-19 related deaths. Today, Gloucester County has an additional 13 cases to report. Of those cases:
The 3694th case is a 22-year-old male form Glassboro.
The 3695th case is a 19-year-old male from West Deptford.
The 3696th case is a 26-year-old male from Washington Twp.
The 3697th case is a 23-year-old female from Glassboro.
The 3698th case is a 14-year-old female from Franklin Twp.
The 3699th case is a 24-year-old male from Franklin Twp.
The 3700th case is a 17-year-old female from Monroe Twp.
The 3701st case is a 20-year-old male from Monroe Twp.
The 3702nd case is a 29-year-old female from Paulsboro.
The 3703rd case is a 20-year-old male from Glassboro.
The 3704th case is a 21-year-old male from South Harrison Twp.
The 3705th case is a 33-year-old female from Glassboro.
The 3706th case is an 18-year-old female from Monroe Twp.

The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had. At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise. Social distancing is critical in flattening the curve and reducing cases. New Jersey residents can call 2-1-1 or 1-800-962-1253 with questions.
