Gloucester County Updates On COVID-19


As of Saturday, August 29th Gloucester County has conducted 42,454 total tests. Of these cases, 38,777 have come back negative. Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 case count is now 3,677 and has 213 COVID-19 related deaths.Today, Gloucester County has an additional 21 cases to report. Of those cases:

The 3658th case is a 3-year-old male form Washington Twp.
The 3659th case is an 18-year-old female from Monroe Twp.
The 3360th case is a 32-year-old male from Logan.
The 3361st case is a 90-year-old female from Glassboro.
The 3362nd case is a 50-year-old female from Harrison Twp.
The 3663rd case is a 52-year-old male from South Harrison Twp.
The 3664th case is a 31-year-old female from Franklin Twp.
The 3665th case is a 19-year-old female from Washington Twp.
The 3666th case is a 39-year-old female from Paulsboro.
The 3667th case is a 20-year-old male from Monroe Twp.
The 3668th case is a 50-year-old female from South Harrison Twp.
The 3669th case is a 26-year-old female from Franklin Twp.
The 3670th case is a 20-year-old female from Woolwich.
The 3671st case is a 17-year-old male from Harrison Twp.
The 3672nd case is a 32-year-old female from Mantua.
The 3673rd case is a 35-year-old female from Monroe Twp.
The 3674th case is a 63-year-old male from Harrison Twp.
The 3675th case is a 35-year-old female from Washington Twp.
The 3676th case is a 34-year-old female from Woolwich.
The 3677th case is a 19-year-old male from Harrison Twp.

The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had. At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise. Social distancing is critical in flattening the curve and reducing cases. New Jersey residents can call 2-1-1 or 1-800-962-1253 with questions. The call center is open 24/7 and has multi-language capacity. Please note that the call center is not able to diagnose or give medical recommendations.
