Gloucester County Updates On COVID-19


As of Wednesday, August 26th Gloucester County has conducted 42,324 total tests. Of these cases, 38,710 have come back negative.Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 case count is now 3,614 and has 213 COVID-19 related deaths. Today, Gloucester County has an additional 7 cases to report. Of those cases:
The 3608th case is a 57-year-old from Franklin Twp.
The 3609th case is a 51-year-old from Monroe Twp.
The 3510th case is a 21-year-old female from Deptford.
The 3511th case is a 22-year-old male from Deptford.
The 3512th case is a 62-year-old female from Washington Twp.
The 3513th case is a 31-year-old male from Wenonah.
The 3514th case is a 3-year-old male from Wenonah.

The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had. At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise. Social distancing is critical in flattening the curve and reducing cases.New Jersey residents can call 2-1-1 or 1-800-962-1253 with questions.
