Gloucester County Updates On COVID-19
As of Friday, August 14th Gloucester County has conducted 38,440 total tests. Of these cases, 35,051 have come back negative. Two cases have been moved out of County.Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 case count is now 3,359. Today, Gloucester County has an additional 32 cases to report. Of those cases:

The 3359th case is a 63-year-old female from Woodbury.
The 3360th case is a 76-year-old female from West Deptford.
The 3361st case is a 54-year-old male from Washington Twp.
The 3362nd case is a 20-year-old male from Washington Twp.
The 3363rd case is a 19-year-old male from Washington Twp.
The 3364th case is a 45-year-old male from Washington Twp.
The 3365th case is a 9-year-old female from Monroe Twp.
The 3366th case is an 84-year-old male from Monroe Twp.
The 3367th case is a 32-year-old female from East Greenwich.
The 3368th case is a 20-year-old male form Glassboro.
The 3369th case is a 28-year-old male from Washington Twp.
The 3370th case is a 29-year-old male from Pitman.
The 3371st case is a 51-year-old male form Wenonah.
The 3372nd case is a 56-year-old male form Deptford.
The 3373rd case is an 18-year-old male form Harrison Twp.

Gloucester County has 208 COVID-19 related deaths. The 208th patient death was an 82-year-old male from Deptford. The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had. At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise. Social distancing is critical in flattening the curve and reducing cases. New Jersey residents can call 2-1-1 or 1-800-962-1253 with questions. Healthcare providers should be contacted if medical advice is needed. People should call their doctor or hospital before going so healthcare staff can provide instructions on getting care. Most people with mild symptoms do not need to be tested. It is important to stay home and isolate from others while sick.
