Gloucester County Updates On COVID-19


As of Friday, August 7, 2020 Gloucester County has conducted 35,682 total tests. Of these cases, 32,456 have come back negative. One case has been moved out of County. Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 case count is now 3,226. Today, Gloucester County has an additional 18 cases to report. Of those cases:
The 3209th case is a 96-year-old female from Deptford.
The 3210th case is a 20-year-old female from Washington Twp.
The 3211th case is an 18-year-old female from Monroe Twp.
The 3212th case is a 32-year-old male from Harrison Twp.
The 3213th case is a 65-year-old female from Deptford.
The 3214th case is a 19-year-old male from Glassboro.
The 3215th case is a 30-year-old female from Washington Twp.
The 3216th case is a 19-year-old female from Washington Twp.
The 3217th case is a 26-year-old female from Washington Twp.
The 3218th case is a 20-year-old male from Washington Twp.
The 3219th case is a 22-year-old female from Deptford.
The 3220th case is a 20-year-old male from Franklin Twp.
The 3221st case is a 22-year-old male from Washington Twp.
The 3222nd case is a 65-year-old female from Paulsboro.
The 3223rd case is a 42-year-old female from Monroe Twp.
The 3224th case is a 20-year-old male from Washington Twp.
The 3225th case is a 38-year-old female from Monroe Twp.
The 3226th case is a 57-year-old male from Harrison Twp.
Gloucester County has 204 COVID-19 related deaths. The 203rd patient death was a 69-year-old male from Greenwich Twp and the 204th patient death was a 67-year-old male from Franklin Twp.
The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had. At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise. Social distancing is critical in flattening the curve and reducing cases. New Jersey residents can call 2-1-1 or 1-800-962-1253 with questions. The call center is open 24/7 and has multi-language capacity.
