EDWARD D. COLE – Obituary
Edward D. Cole, age 77, of Hunterdon County, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2025, at Country Arch Care Center. Born in Utica, New York, on August 26, 1947, he was the son of the late Edward J. and Shirley E. Cole.
Edward served his country honorably as a Military Police Sergeant in the United States Army from 1967 to 1970. He was a graduate of Whitesboro High School in Marcy, NY, and continued his studies at Wadhams Hall Seminary College (Ogdensburg, NY), Gloucester County College (Sewell, NJ), and Rowan University (Glassboro, NJ).
A man of deep conviction, Edward was unwavering in his Roman Catholic faith. At the time of his passing, he served full-time in ministry with the Evangelization Apostolate of God’s Divine Love and Mercy and was a member of Christ the Good Shepherd Church (Saint Isidore the Farmer) in Vineland, NJ. His dedication to spiritual service and evangelization was a guiding force in his later years.
Edward brought creativity and entrepreneurial spirit to his professional life as the former owner of Camera Artistry Studio in Franklinville, NJ, and as CEO and President of M&I Accounting Services. In both roles, he demonstrated a strong-minded approach and a commitment to excellence.
He is survived by his children: Edward S. Cole, Carrie A. Wells, James G. D. Cole, and Christopher D. Cole; by 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and by his siblings Gregory Cole and Laurie Bushey.
A Harley-Davidson enthusiast and someone who found fulfillment in helping others through faith-based ministry, Edward leaves behind a legacy of spiritual devotion, resilience, and determination.
