DEBORAH ANNE SPASARI – Obituary
Deborah Anne Spasari (nee Oakley), age 60, of Franklinville, NJ, passed away surrounded by her loving
family on October 23, 2024.
She was raised in Archbald, PA before moving to Franklinville over 30 years ago. “Miss Debbie” worked
as the Food Service Director under the direction of Nutri-Serve at St. Mary’s School in Williamstown for
many years. She found great joy in her work and loved the children she was blessed to be in the presence
of each day.
She was known for her cooking and amazing cake decorating skills. Finding solace on the water, she was
an avid fisher and was affectionately called the “fishin’ magician” by her brother. With a passion for
animals, she was a long-time board member of the Gloucester County Animal Shelter as well.
Her most cherished time was spent with family. Whether it was a vacation to the Outer Banks, the
Poconos, or simply hanging at the house, Debbie treasured being together, especially with her
grandchildren and sisters.
She was the definition of selfless love and gave the Gift of Life through organ donation to countless
others at the time of her passing, leaving behind a legacy of love and generosity.
Beloved daughter of the late Walter and Vera Oakley. Devoted wife of 40 years to Dominic J. Spasari,
Sr. Loving mother of Dominic J. Spasari, Jr. (Jenni) and Nicholas Spasari (Destiny). Adoring Grammy
