CLAYTON MAN ARRESTED FOR DISTRIBUTION OF CRACK COCAINE

 

Ptlm. Robert Martines of the Clayton Police Department received information of drug activity at a residence on the 100 Block of S. Delsea Dr. The information was turned over to Det. Jackson Harrington of the Clayton Police Department who conducted a brief investigation which identified the suspect as Otis Jenkins, a 41 year old male who had an active no bail warrant out of the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office for distribution of Cocaine and a Traffic Warrant out of East Greenwich for $2,000.

On Wednesday, April 4th, at around 5 AM, Clayton Police Officers and the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office Fugitive Unit served a Warrant on Otis Jenkins who was residing at a residence on the 100 block of S. Delsea Dr. Otis Jenkins was arrested without incident. Inside the residence approximately 57 grams of suspected crack cocaine was seized. The street value of the Cocaine is estimated to be about $2,000. Also seized was drug paraphernalia, including a digital scale, and $650. in cash. Otis Jenkins was charged with; 2C:35:10A(1) Possession of C.D.S. (Controlled Dangerous Substance), 2C:35-5B-(4) Distribution of C.D.S., and 2C:36-2 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Otis Jenkins was sent to Salem County Jail for incarceration.
