CHRISTOPHER HINES, SR. – Obituary
Christopher Hines, Sr., age 59, on August 9, 2025, in Franklinville, NJ. He was the father of Stephanie Hines, Christopher Hines, Jr., and Jessica Hines, and the grandfather of Marlee Fitzgerald. Christopher shared over 20 years of love and companionship with his significant other, Missy Johnston.
He is now reunited with his parents, Thomas Carl and Eleanor Jane (née Van Atter) Hines, Sr., as well as his late brothers, Rob Hines, Jeff Hines, and Tommy Hines, Jr.
Born on December 5, 1965, Chris was raised in Secane, PA. For the past three years, he made his home in Franklinville, NJ. Throughout his life, he held a variety of jobs, but found the greatest joy in his career as a commercial truck driver — a role that allowed him to explore the open road and connect with people from all walks of life.
Christopher’s passions reflected his spirited personality. He was an avid bowler and a competitive horseshoe player. He had a deep love for music, especially his favorite band, Def Leppard. A dedicated fan of all Philadelphia sports teams, Chris could always be found cheering them on with pride.
