ANN M. GOLDSBERRY- Obituary
Ann M. Goldsberry (nee Matkowsky), age 91, of Franklinville, NJ, passed away on June 17, 2025. Ann worked for Delsea High School in the guidance office in the 1970’s, many years ago before she remarried and moved to Delaware where she worked as an insurance agent until her retirement at age 62. Ann loved her “yard sales” where she would buy and resell her goods. She loved it and she was quite good at it too. She loved reading her books back in the day. She loved her Tuesday night Bingo with the “Mews Crew” and also her many trips to the casino. She was an easy-going person with simple pleasures. Beloved wife of the late Thomas L. Goldsberry, Sr. and Frank J. Klein. Mom always said she was so lucky to have had two good men in her life. Devoted mother of daughter Susan Jones (Bill), daughter Kathy Ryan, son Thomas Goldsberry, Jr. (Angela), and the late Gina Krook. Predeceased by her oldest grandson Ross Kronberger (Natalie) and survived by her grandchildren Sean, Kyle, Daniel (Cassie), Josh, Kaitlin (Derek), Donna (Vee), Trey, and Hunter. Loving great grandmother of Anthony, Nina, Connor, Silvia, and Ella. Predeceased by her siblings Mary Meyers (the late Robert), Steve Matkowsky (Elaine), John Matkowsky (the late Sarah) and survived by Cookie Deschler (Larry), Nick Matkowsky (Nancy), and Diane Sockwell. Also survived by many special nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Tuesday, June 24th from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Williamstown.
