WILLIAM HAROLD ‘BUZZ SAW’ SULZMAN, III – Obituary

William Harold “Buzz Saw” Sulzman, III of Franklinville on Sunday, August 13, 2023.  Devoted husband of Angeline Sulzman (nee Tucci).  Loving father of Joshua Matthew Sulzman (Caitlin).  Son of Donna Lee Hoffman (nee Carey) and stepson of Jack Hoffman.  Son-in-law of Arthonda Tucci.  Brother of Kevin Sulzman and step-brother of David Hoffman.  Nephew of Bob Sulzman (Judy) and the late Donald Sulzman. Brother-in-law of Joe Tucci (Donna) and Jeannette Tucci.  Uncle and godfather of Joseph M. Tucci, 3rd and uncle to Tyler Tucci and Grace C. Tucci.  Great-uncle of Skyla Tucci, Julianna Fattore, and Gia Fattore.  “Adoptive” brother-in-law of Sam Bidoli.  Also survived by many wonderful cousins and so many close loving friends, neighbors, and caring members of the community.

Born in Woodbury and raised in Washington Township, Bill has been a resident of Franklinville for the past 38 years.  He was a 1979 graduate of Washington Township High School and the Gloucester County Vo-Tech School.  Bill started Buzz Saw Trees right out of high school in 1979 and was later joined by his son Josh who worked alongside him for many years.  In his early youth, he loved riding harness horses for his Uncle Don and later played basketball, baseball, football, and golf.  Bill enjoyed hunting throughout his life and loved his community and giving back to it.  Back in the early 1990s, he was a member of the NJ Arm-wrestling Team and was ranked 3rd in the USA and 5th in the world!  Bill loved all types of music from rock to country and from hip-hop to rap and was fluent in the lyrics across all genres.  Together with his wife Angie, he enjoyed countless concerts over the years.  Above all else, Bill loved his family deeply including his dogs Achilles and the late Lucky.  Many who knew Bill will remember him as always being a jokester.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday, August 18, 2023, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME, 208 Maple Street, Clayton, NJ 08312 with a funeral service beginning at 7:30 PM.  Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Bill to Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge, 4 Sawmill Road, Medford, NJ 08055.  Sign the guestbook at BarclayFuneralHome.net.
