Veronica Rita Moyer (nee Negri) of Clayton on Monday, January 25, 2021. Age 90. Wife of the late Clyde W. Moyer, Jr. Mother of Clyde B. Moyer (Kathleen) of Dover, FL; Jack Moyer (Linda) of Wayland, NY; and Patricia Feeley of Berlin, NJ. Grandmother of Bobbi Jo Moyer of Deptford, NJ; Janet Moyer of Mays Landing, NJ; Paul Moyer of Egg Harbor Township, NJ; Lisa Petrin (René) of Charlotte, NC; Diana Sanford (Nathan) of Stow, MA; and Katlyn Slough of Baltimore, MD. Daughter of the late John and Frances (nee Kurinski) Negri.
Born and raised in Franklin Township, Veronica has been a resident of Clayton for the past 70 years. She was a 1948 graduate of Clayton High School and devoted her life to raising her children and taking care of her family. Veronica was a longtime, member of Saint Catherine of Siena Church in Clayton and helped out with bingo and other church activities. She volunteered as a Girl Scout Leader during her daughter’s youth and was an avid reader throughout the years. Veronica enjoyed sewing and made many of the clothes her children wore as well as their Halloween costumes.
