TOTAL POSITIVE COVID-19 CASES RISE TO 284 IN GLOU COUNTY NJ

The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services and Office of Emergency Management have announced 33 more positive COVID-19 cases in Gloucester County.
As of Monday morning, April 6, 2020, Gloucester County has conducted 1,662 tests. Of those tests 1,355 are negatives, 284 are positives and 23 are still pending.
Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 cases is 284.
The 252nd case is a 69-year-old male from Harrison Township.
The 253rd case is a 69-year-old male from Monroe Township.
The 254th case is a 50-year-old female from Woolwich.
The 255th case is a 68-year-old male from Deptford.
The 256th case is a 38-year-old male from Franklin Township.
The 257th case is a 35-year-old male from Franklin Township.
The 258th case is a 54-year-old male from Deptford.
The 259th case is a 42-year-old female from Washington Township.
The 260th case is a 67-year-old female from Deptford.
The 261st case is a 37-year-old male from East Greenwich.
The 262nd case is a 24-year-old male from Deptford.
The 263rd case is a 66-year-old male from Swedesboro.
The 264th case is a 34-year-old female from Woolwich.
The 265th case is a 68-year-old female from Monroe Township.
The 266th case is an 18-year-old female from Washington Township.
The 267th case is a 47-year-old female from Woodbury Heights.
The 268th case is a 54-year-old male from Deptford.
The 269th case is a 49-year-old male from Deptford.
The 270th case is a 76-year-old male from Washington Township.
The 271st case is a 76-year-old female from Glassboro.
The 272nd case is a 66-year-old male from Washington Township.

The 275th case is a 51-year-old female from Deptford.
The 276th case is a 79-year-old female from Glassboro.
The 277th case is a 24-year-old female from Monroe Township.

The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had.
At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise. Social distancing is critical in flattening the curve and reducing cases. A mask should only be worn if a healthcare professional recommends it.
