TOTAL POSITIVE COVID-19 CASES RISE TO 251

The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services and Office of Emergency Management have announced 33 more positive COVID-19 cases in Gloucester County.
As of Sunday morning, April 5th, Gloucester County has conducted 1,475 tests. Of those tests 1,197 are negatives, 251 are positives and 27 are still pending.
Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 cases is 251.
The 219th case is a 25-year-old female from Mantua.
The 220th case is a 40-year-old male from South Harrison
The 221st case is a 63-year-old male from Deptford.
The 222nd case is a 66-year-old female from Washington Township.
The 223rd case is a 22-year-old male from West Deptford.
The 224th case is a 63-year-old male from West Deptford.
The 225th case is a 43-year-old female from Washington Township.
The 226th case is a 65-year-old female from Clayton.
The 227th case is a 47-year-old female from Harrison Township.
The 228th case is a 67-year-old female from Deptford.
The 229th case is a 49-year-old male from Monroe Township.
The 230th case is a 75-year-old male from Deptford.
The 231st case is a 54-year-old female from Washington Township.
The 232nd case is a 27-year-old female from Monroe Township.
The 233rd case is a 53-year-old female from Monroe Township.
The 234th case is a 28-year-old male from Monroe Township.
The 235th case is a 61-year-old female from Deptford.
The 236th case is a 46-year-old female from Deptford.
The 237th case is a 52-year-old male from Elk Township.
The 238th case is a 72-year-old female from West Deptford.
The 239th case is a 63-year-old male from Mantua.
The 240th case is an 18-year-old female from Washington Township.
The 241st case is a 47-year-old female from Monroe Township.
The 242nd case is an 81-year-old male from Deptford.
The 243rd case is a 65-year-old male Washington Township.
The 244th case is a 57-year-old female from Glassboro.
The 245th case is a 24-year-old female from Monroe Township.

The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had.
At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise. Social distancing is critical in flattening the curve and reducing cases. A mask should only be worn if a healthcare professional recommends it.
