Theodore John Myszka – Obituary

Theodore John Myszka of Pittsgrove on Friday, February 5, 2021. Age 82. Husband of the late Elaine M. Myszka (nee Sibila). Father of Walter (Alicia) Myszka and Richard Myszka. Grandfather of Matthew Higgins, Jr. and Brandon Bagnell. Brother of James (Elaine) Myszka. Son of the late Theodore F. & Katherine E. (nee Horky) Myszka. Also survived by several cousins, nieces, and a nephew.

Born in Philadelphia and raised in Glendora, Ted has been a resident of Pittsgrove for over 45 years. He was a 1956 graduate of Haddonfield High School and proudly served in the US Army after graduation. Ted found his calling as a commercial real estate broker, where he developed lasting relationships and helped change the landscape of southern New Jersey. He was a broker for 50 years and cherished his clients and colleagues as extended family. He was also proud to be among the first members of the Washington Township police force.

The most important thing to Ted was his family. He loved vacationing with family and traveling with his late wife Elaine. His selflessness and compassion to help others were evident in the organizations he devoted his time. He volunteered for the Whitman Square and Willow Grove Fire Companies, participated with the Rotary Club, and served on the Pittsgrove Township Zoning Board. He enjoyed sitting at Riverwinds watching the planes and attending Broadway shows.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Monday, February 15, 2021, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME, 208 Maple Street, Clayton, NJ 08312 with a funeral service beginning at 11:30 AM.
