S hirley R. Marquez (nee Engelke), 75, passed away at her home in Williamstown on Sept. 25, 2018, after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. The baby of 11 children, she was born at home in Franklinville on Feb. 5, 1943, and was a member of the first graduating class of Delsea High School. Shirley raised her family and lived in Williamstown for more than 50 years and worked as book keeper for the family business, Miracle-Ear. Visiting and talking with her large family was one of her most beloved things. Uncommon devotion to her husband and children was in her soul. Survived by her beloved husband Mark Marquez of 56 years; daughter Lora Turgeon (Robert); son Mark Marquez II; grandsons Zachary and Joshua Turgeon; brother Harry; and many loving nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents John and Mary (nee Sheppard) and siblings Mildred Sivel, John Engelke, Charles Engelke, Joseph Engelke, Caroline Deola, Frank Engelke,
George Engelke, Lorraine Pfrommer and May Levenknight. Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Friday, Sept. 28, from 12-1 p.m. at Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N.
