SCHOOL SECURITY DRILL PLANNED – Franklin Township
One of the Township of Franklin Public School District’s main priorities is to provide a safe and secure environment for our students and staff. As required by the New Jersey Department of Education we practice safety drills throughout the school year so our students know what to do in the case of an emergency. In order to enhance our efforts, we have planned a full – scale school security drill for the Caroline L. Reutter School on Monday, November 20th. This drill has been carefully planned under the collaborative coordination of the Township of Franklin Public Schools, Township of Franklin Office of Emergency Management, Franklin Township Police Department, Township of Franklin Fire Marshal’s Office, and Gloucester County Emergency Medical Services. All of these safety agencies will participate in the drill. If you have any questions regarding the upcoming school security drill, please contact Mr. Troy Walton, Superintendent at twalton@franklintwpschools.org or (856) 629 – 9500 ext. 1201.
