Rose Mary Patane (nee Lauletta), age 94, passed away peacefully on December 12th, 2024, surrounded by her beloved family. She was the devoted wife of 60 years to Rito Salvatore Patane, who predeceased her in 2013.
Born and raised on Hall Street in Philadelphia, PA, Rose was the daughter of the late Angelo and Rose (nee Del Soldo] Lauletta and brother to the late John Lauletta. She and Rito moved to Franklinville in 1959, where they built a life filled with love, family, and tradition. Rose spent her years as a perfect homemaker, taking pride in raising her family and creating a warm and welcoming home.
Rose was the loving mother of Joseph Patane (married to Debbie), Richard Patane (married to Patricia), and Angelo Patane (married to Donna). She was a devoted grandmother to Joseph Jr., Rose, Geno, Angela, Alexandra, Lindsay, Brian, and Jeffrey. Rose’s love expanded with the arrival of her great-grandchildren.
Rose had a deep love for family, which was evident in the summers spent working on the farm with her three sons, Joey, Ritchie, and Angelo. She also found joy in her trips to the casino with her beloved husband, Rito, where they shared many fun and memorable moments.
Rose was the heart of her family, known for her legendary meatball recipe, which was always served during the Sunday dinners she hosted for years. Her warmth, kindness, and pure heart will forever be remembered.
Rest in peace, Rose. Your love and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know you.
A very private celebration of Rose’s life will be held at the convenience of the immediate family under the direction of the BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME of Clayton. Sign the guestbook at BarclayFuneralHome.net.
