ROBERT LESLIE THIBAULT- Obituary

Robert Leslie Thibault of Clayton went home to be with his Lord and personal Savior on Saturday, October 28, 2017.  Age 89.  Devoted husband of 56 years to the late Esther (nee Cheesman) Thibault.  Loving father of Barbara (Rich) Shivers, David (Donna) Thibault, and Bob (Enedia) Thibault.  Grandfather of Stephen (Jill) Shivers, Brett (Kate) Shivers, Joshua (Becky) Shivers, David (Ruth) Thibault, Brian (Becky) Thibault, Kevin (Danielle) Thibault, Alexis Thibault, and Alena Thibault.  Great-grandfather of 10.  Brother of Lew “Lux” (Shirley) Thibault.  Son of the late Leslie and Camille (nee Locher) Thibault.

Born in Egg Harbor City and raised in Berlin, Bob was a 69 year resident of Clayton before moving to the Veterans Memorial Home in Vineland three years ago.  He worked as a plumber/pipe-fitter for 25 years at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard until his retirement in 1993.  Bob was a member of the Clayton Baptist Church since 1946, quietly and faithfully serving his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in many capacities while caring for his church and its members including serving on the Board of Deacons for many years.  He loved working in his garden and sharing the produce with family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on November 1, 2017, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Clayton Baptist Church, 110 S. Delsea Drive, Clayton, NJ 08312.  Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at the church.  Interment Cedar Green Cemetery, Clayton.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Clayton Baptist Church.  Arrangements under the direction of the BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME.  Sign the guestbook and send condolences at BarclayFuneralHome.net.
