Born and raised in Philadelphia, Regina has been a resident of Franklinville for the past 47 years. She was a 1962 graduate of South Philadelphia High School and worked as a secretary at Chips ‘n Twigs Boys Clothing and later Daroff & Sons Manufacturing in Philadelphia. After spending time home raising her children, Regina worked for 30 years as a secretary for the superintendent and later the principal of Delsea Regional High School until her retirement in 2010. She was a fabulous seamstress, often making many of her own clothes and, along with her sister Josephine, made mummers costumes for the Murray Comic Club in Philadelphia. Regina was the “Worst Lady” of the Big “W” Club (“Wonderful World Without Women”) and enjoyed reading, gardening, spending time with her grandchildren, and going to lunch with friends. She enjoyed bowling for many years in various leagues and earned a trophy for her 7-10 split. Regina loved Walt Disney, spending days at the beach with her husband, and traveling. Recently, she enjoyed a cross-country trip with her son and a trip to Ireland with her daughter.
