RAYMOND ZENITH FINLAW, III – Obituary
Raymond Zenith Finlaw, III, age 57, on June 29, 2026, in Washington Township, NJ. Beloved son of the late Raymond Zenith Finlaw, II and Kathy Frances (nee Zane) Finlaw. Loving brother to Kathy Finlaw Tanner and her husband Robert Gouge, Shannon Finlaw Dunn, Kelly Finlaw Slaughter, and Bruce Scott Crabtree. He also held a special place in the hearts of his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Tanner, Heather Tanner, Amanda Dunn, Thomas Tanner, Zachary Dunn, Samantha Maxwell, Niyah Slaughter, and Kristopher Slaughter, as well as his five great-nieces and two great-nephews.
Raymond was born on June 23, 1969, in Orlando, FL, and lived a life marked by warmth, loyalty, and a genuine love for the people around him. He spent 13 years as a resident of Franklinville and most recently made his home in Glassboro for the past 8 years. Raymond was known by many as a true social butterfly, someone who could walk into a room and make others feel welcome. His easygoing nature and friendly spirit left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He valued time with family above all else and found joy in being surrounded by those he loved.
A lifelong fan of the New York Giants, Raymond followed his team with enthusiasm and pride. He also loved music, especially rock-n-roll, and appreciated the energy and memories that music could bring. Whether listening to a favorite song or sharing stories with family and friends, he embraced the moments that made life meaningful. Raymond will be remembered for his kind heart, his outgoing personality, and the love he shared so freely with others.
