TOWNSHIP OF MONROE
TOWNSHIP COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP MONROE
In accordance with the Open Meeting Act, P.L. 1975 c 231, N.J.S.A. 10:4-6, et. seq., this is to
advise that the Township Council of the Township of Monroe, Glo ucester County, New Jersey,
will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at 7:00PM by way of electronic
communication/live streaming pursuant to N.J.S.A. 10:4-8(b) and consist ent with Executive
Order 103 signed by Governor Murphy on March 9, 2020 in an abun dance of caution and to help
prevent the spread of COVID-19.
All regular business that was scheduled to be conducted at the 8:00PM Council Meeting will be
conducted during the Work Session Meeting previously scheduled to take place on Tuesday,
April 14, 2020 at 7:00PM and will be broadcasted live via UberC onference.com. You may
access the meeting via URL by downloading the UberConference Ap p or visiting the following
website: uberconference.co m/jmccrea3. By phone only, you may d ial in to (856) 441-3536.
Be advised that members of the public can participate in said m eeting by submitting comments
by email to the Clerk, Aileen Chiselko, at AChiselko@monroetown shipnj.org by 3:00PM the
day of the meeting, April 14, 2020. The comments should be lim ited to 250 words. These
comments will be read into the record by a governing body membe r or the clerk during the
public comment period. This is a temporary policy only put in place due to a public health
emergency.
Residents can view the meeting as detailed above. Township Cou ncil will hold this meeting via
online meeting forum and telephone conference and will not be i n-person. This meeting will be
closed to any in-perso n attendance except fo r essential individ uals for broadcasting, Council
President, Clerk and Solicitor . Formal action will be taken.
