TOWNSHIP OF MONROE
COUNTY OF GLOUCESTER
STATE OF NEW JERSEY
PURPOSE: The Township of Monroe is seeking funding through the State of NJ Green Acres
Program for improvements at Earl E. Owens Memorial Park located at 690 North Tuckahoe
Road, Williamstown.
PROJECT SCOPE: The Township of Monroe proposes to create the following new facility at
Earl E. Owens Memorial Park: an outdoor amphitheater. A concept plan showing the proposed
changes, a preliminary cost estimate, and an environmental impact assessment for the project can
be found at: www.monroetownshipnj.org
PUBLIC HEARING INFORMATION: The public is encouraged to attend a public hearing to
learn more about the proposal and to ask questions or provide comments on the proposed plan on
Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in-person in the Court
Room of the Municipal Complex located at 125 Virginia Avenue, Williamstown, NJ 08094.
