PAULSBORO HOUSE FIRE TAKES LIVES OF TWO BROTHERS –

On Saturday, March 6, 2021 a single-family dwelling fire was reported at 4AM on W. Washington St., Paulsboro. Paulsboro PD arrived and confirmed report of two children victims trapped in second floor bedroom. Fire crews arrived and made entry through front door and second floor windows to search for victims.
Two victims were rescued by fire crews on the second floor. CPR was performed on scene by Gloucester County EMS before transporting to Crozier-Chester Hospital then to St. Christopher’s Hospital for pediatric care. The two victims were pronounced dead on Sunday, March 7th at St. Christopher’s Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.
One firefighter suffered minor burns to face, received care and will make full recovery. The area of origin is the dining room. The Gloucester County Fire Marshal and Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office are still investigating at this time. There is no criminal intent on the scene.
