A Red Tie Event will take place on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 4 PM at the Paulsboro High School Gymnasium, 700 North Delaware Street, Paulsboro. Historic Paulsboro High School was built in 1916 and dedicated during spring 1917. The Class of 2016 was the 100th group of students to graduate from the school. Commencement 2016 began a year-long series of events that will culminate with the Centennial Celebration on Saturday, April 22, 2017. The Celebration theme is, “1916-2016: 100 Years of Pride and Tradition.”
The Celebration will also include the first annual Hall of Distinguished Alumni induction ceremony. Paulsboro High School is the Alma Mater of some of the most distinguished and most accomplished people in industry, business, government, and the military. The Hall of Distinguished Alumni was established to pay tribute to those graduates who have made exemplary contributions in their field and/or as humanitarians. The program will include the rededication of Paulsboro High School, Hall of Distinguished Alumni Induction, school tours, exhibits and displays of memorabilia, musical entertainment, and a lavish buffet dinner. Tickets are $25 per person. Reservations must be prepaid by April 1st. Please make checks payable to the Paulsboro Board of Education.
