PAULSBORO DOUBLE-HOMICIDE

Press Release from Gloucester County Prosecutors Office – May 11th, 2021

On Saturday, May 8th at approximately 4:21 p.m., officers from the Paulsboro Police Department responded to the area of West Adams and Delaware Streets for the report of multiple persons who had sustained gunshot wounds according to a press release from the Gloucester County Prosecutors office.. Upon arrival, Paulsboro officers located two deceased males.

The deceased have been identified as 28-year-old Aaron L. Owens and 25-year-old Cory R. Bunch, both of Camden City. A third male was located in a vehicle a short distance away, suffering from gunshot wounds. That subject was transported to Cooper Hospital in Camden, where he remains hospitalized in critical condition.

Autopsies of Owens and Bunch conducted on May 9th by Gloucester County Medical Examiner Dr. Gerald Feigin ruled the cause of death for Owens and Bunch as gunshot wounds and the manner of death as homicide.

This investigation remains active and Detectives believe there are additional witnesses who can provide crucial information to aid and further this investigation.
