PAULINE MARY LOCICERO- Obituary
Pauline Mary Locicero (nee Sicura) on Tuesday, April 5, 2022. Age 95. Wife of 65 years to the late Alfred Locicero. Mother of Anna Marie Cuccio (Francis), Rita Alessandrini (Peter), Salvatore Locicero (Ellen), and Joseph Locicero (Debra). Grandmother of Peter Alessandrini, Jr. (Jackie); Kristin Annucci (Nicholas); Erica Coraluzzi (John); Francis Cuccio, Jr. (Jessica); Elisabeth Locicero; and Justin Locicero. Great-grandmother of Giovanni, Madelyn, Sebastian, Angelo, and Alessandra. Sister of the late Joseph Sicura, Anna Sicura, Angelo Sicura, and Jennie Giordano. Daughter of the late Sebastian & Carmela (nee Bonfiglio) Sicura.
Born and raised in Philadelphia where she spent most of her life, Pauline has been a resident of Clayton since 1999. She worked as a tailor for numerous tailor shops in Philadelphia beginning in 1932 until her retirement in 1989. Pauline was a longtime and active member of Saint Catherine of Siena RC Church. She sang in the choir at the Philadelphia Senior Center, enjoyed reading and crocheting, and was a member of the Saint Michael’s Knit & Crochet Club. Pauline liked to travel with friends throughout the US, especially her trips to Las Vegas and Vermont, and made two trips to visit Italy. Baking was one of Pauline’s favorite things to do throughout her life, and she loved to take care of her husband.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday, April 11, 2022, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME, 208 Maple Street, Clayton, NJ 08312. Funeral mass at 10:30 AM at Saint Catherine of Siena RC Church, 49 W. North Street, in Clayton. Entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
