PAULINE CUCINOTTA -Obituary

Pauline Cucinotta (nee D’Amato), age 96, of Clayton, NJ, went home to be with the Lord on June 26, 2026.

Pauline was born on October 8,1929 in Manhattan, NY to Giuseppe and Pauline D’Amato. She was a graduate of Glassboro High School, class of 1949. While growing up in Glassboro, her family attended Christ Pentecostal Church where Pauline met her future husband and the love of her life, Joseph Cucinotta. They were united in marriage in 1954 and moved to a farmhouse in Clayton, where they raised their three children. She was a devoted member of the Gloucester County Community Church since 1982, serving in many capacities. She was involved in the choir, Forever Young group, the Christmas and Easter plays, and various bible studies through the years. Pauline had a talent for knitting and crocheting, and along with the ladies from church, formed the “Hook and Needle” crocheting club, providing baby blankets and hats for babies born into military families and eventually making many beautiful blankets for family and friends. Over the years, she took pride in crafting countless heirlooms for family and friends. Above all, Pauline was a devoted homemaker who found her greatest joy in caring for and spending time with her family.

Beloved wife of 72 years to Joseph Cucinotta. Devoted mother of Barbara Caccamo (the late John), David Cucinotta (Anita), and Karen Rosa (Thomas). Loving grandmother of Ashley (Erik), Steven, Christina (Kevin), Crysta (Anthony), Alexandria (Arthur), Anthony Joseph (Megan) and T. Nicholas (Nicole). Loving great-grandmother of Zachary, Haley, Olivia, Wyatt, Mia, Remington, Stella, Nora, Luca, Bennett, Paxton, Rowan with one more joyfully expected. Dear sister of the late Thomas D’Amato, the late David D’Amato and the late Daniel D’Amato.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Wednesday, July 8th from 9:30 – 11:30 am at the Gloucester County Community Church, 359 Chapel Heights Road, Washington Twp. (Sewell), NJ, where a service will be held at 11:30 am. Burial will follow in Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro.
