PATRICIA ANN DAVIS- Obituary

Patricia Ann (nee Ziennker) Davis, age 72, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at her home in Elk Township, surrounded by her loving family.

Patricia is survived by her beloved daughter, Christine Renee Yenner; her cherished granddaughter, Morgan Jameson, her husband Graham, and their family; her siblings, Terry Santa and her husband, Joe, William Ziennker and his wife, Mia, and Deborah Gregory and her husband, Tim; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Albert Russell Davis, III, with whom she shared her life from 1981 until his passing in 2024; her son, Adam Michael Davis; her siblings, Rodrick Ziennker and Darlene C. Bollerman; and her parents, William and Elaine (nee Lockman) Ziennker.

Born in Philadelphia, Patricia was a lifelong resident of Elk Township. She was a proud member of the Delsea Regional High School Class of 1972.

Following in the footsteps of her grandfather and mother, Patricia drove a school bus for Aura School for several years. She later began a successful 24-year career with Caesars in Atlantic City, where she started as a cashier and advanced through hard work and dedication to become a Cage Supervisor.

Patricia was a compassionate and generous person who gave of her time as a volunteer EMT with the Ferrell Fire Company for several years. She was gifted with many talents and enjoyed expressing her creativity by making homemade Christmas gifts, beautiful gift baskets, and, for a time, sewing pillows and other handcrafted items. An outstanding cook, Patricia especially loved preparing holiday meals that brought family and friends together. She was an avid reader who found joy in a good book and took great pride in tending her gardens, where she grew herbs, vegetables, and an abundance of flowers, with irises holding a special place as her favorite. One of Patricia’s greatest passions was genealogy. She devoted countless hours to researching her family’s history, collecting historical documents, and traveling to cemeteries to preserve the stories of those who came before her.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday, August 10, 2026, from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at Barclay Funeral Home, 208 Maple Street, Clayton, NJ 08312. A funeral service will begin at 3:30 PM, followed by interment at Ferrell United Methodist Cemetery in Ferrell, NJ.
