MOON YANG PAK – Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Moon Yang Pak, 74, of Franklinville, NJ, who died peacefully at his home on Friday, November 15, 2024. He is survived by his sons, Paul Pak of Virginia and Peter Pak of Maryland, and his dear friend Kum Soon Park of Franklinville.

Born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, Moon earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Kyung Hee University. After immigrating to the United States with his mother and brothers, he lived in Philadelphia for several years before settling in Franklinville 18 years ago. A proud veteran, Moon served in the South Korean Army, an experience that profoundly shaped his life.

In his professional life, Moon was a dedicated entrepreneur, operating various retail stores with his wife. He worked tirelessly throughout his career, demonstrating a strong commitment to both his family and his business.

Outside of his work, Moon had a deep passion for landscaping, painting, and sculpture. His love for the natural world and artistic expression was evident in his many creative endeavors. He found peace and joy in working with his hands, whether cultivating his garden or creating art.

Moon’s passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be remembered for his kindness, strength, and dedication to those he loved.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME, 208 Maple Street, Clayton, NJ 08312.  Funeral service at 11:30 AM.  Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.  Sign the guestbook at BarclayFuneralHome.net.
