MARY ARVOLIN SWENK – Obituary

        Mary Arvolin Swenk (nee Lanning) on Friday, May 4th, 2018.  Age 88.  Wife of 51 years to the late Walter A. Swenk.  Mother of Gary (Dee) Swenk, Kenneth (Deb) Swenk, Steve (Dori) Swenk, Marylyn (Ken) Goldman, and the late Walter “Buddy” Swenk.  Grandmother of 9, and Great-grandmother of 14.  Daughter of the late Arthur C. and Mary E. (nee Walser) Lanning.

       Born in Salisbury, NC, Mary was raised in Lexington, NC and Akron, OH.  She lived in Vineland for 8 years and was most recently of Franklinville for the past 10 years.  Mary graduated high school and began work with Bell Telephone Company.  Later, she worked as a nurse’s aide at Garden State Hospital in Marlton until her retirement in 1990.  Mary loved cooking, playing the lotto, sewing, and swimming.  She was also very interested in politics. Services are under the direction of the BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME and are private at the convenience of the family.  Sign the guestbook and send condolences at BarclayFuneralHome.net.
