MARTHA (SPATAFORE) LYERLY
Martha (Spatafore) Lyerly, age 90, of Millville passed away on Friday afternoon February 7, 2020 at the Genesis Millville Center. Martha was born & raised in Malaga. After marrying she moved to North Carolina for a few years before moving back to NJ in 1999. She was the daughter of the late Rosa (Lucente) & Samuel Spatafore. She was pre-deceased by her husband Graham A. Lyerly, sisters Antoinette Schwartz & Mary Goldsmid and brothers William & Daniel Spatafore.
While living in New Jersey Martha was employed in the local glass industry. She worked in the clothing industry in Lexington, NC. She loved to shop and dine out but also enjoyed cooking her Italian specialties. Martha faithfully kept in touch with family and friends. She attended the Hope Assembly of God Church in Malaga. She is survived by her sister Delores Zbosnik, numerous nieces and nephews and her step-family the Hodgkins of Florida. Funeral services will be private with burial in the Salisbury National Veterans Cemetery, Salisbury, NC.
