MARGARET HAZEL OLSEN – Obituary
Margaret Hazel Olsen (nee Stull) of Janvier on Monday, March 25, 2024. Age 97.
Margaret was a 1944 graduate of Clayton High School, where she was the class secretary for four years. She worked in the local post office for several years before marrying her husband, Harold R. Olsen, of 65 years.
Margaret taught Sunday School at the Franklinville United Methodist Church for 14 years before she moved to Janvier, where she was a 60-year member of the First Presbyterian Church of Janvier, including 26 years as treasurer.
Margaret was predeceased by her parents, Thomas Sydney Stull and Ethel Margaret Brown (nee Karge); her siblings, Elsie M. Geverd, RN, and Thomas S. Stull. She is survived by her children, Ethel Mae Olsen, Kathy O. Mackey (Albert, Col. USAF, Ret), and Joyce M. Olsen, and her grandchildren Karen Mackey Fleckenstein (James) and Alexander Mackey.
Relatives and friends are invited to her graveside service on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Janvier Cemetery, 3048 Coles Mill Road, Franklinville, NJ 08322. Services under the direction of the BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME in Clayton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Margaret to the First Presbyterian Church of Janvier, 1775 Stanton Avenue, Franklinville, NJ 08322.
