LORRAINE A. ‘LORI’ HERBERT
Lorraine A. “Lori” Herbert (nee Glogau) of Malaga on Friday, March 24, 2023. Age 89. Beloved wife of 52 years to the late Kenneth George “Herbie” Herbert. Devoted mother of Karen H. Doughty and her husband Russell. Dear grandmother to Anthony David Percival, III and great-grandmother of Amber Ashley O’Neill and her husband Brian. Loving great-great-grandmother of Izzabella and Daniel O’Neill.
Born in Waterbury, CT, Lori was raised in Vineland and resident of Clayton for 60 years before moving to Malaga in 2011. She worked for 15 years as a machine operator for Aura Badge in Aura and later was manager of Joan’s Hallmark in Turnersville for 15 years until her retirement in 2004.
Lori volunteered as a den mother to help a local boys group in need of a leader and later became a girl scout leader when her daughter was active in the girl scouts. She was the choir director of her church and enjoyed sewing, macrame, and crafts. Lori loved family dinners and was most proud of having taken good care of her husband.
