Linda Cataldi, 71, of Pittsgrove passed on Monday, April 1, 2024. Loving daughter of Jim and Rose (nee Wasko) Nichols. Wife of Louis Anthony Cataldi, for 34 years. Devoted mother to Steven (Kimberly) Lutz and Linda Lutz. Linda was extremely close to her siblings Mike Cartwright, Bobby Cartwright, Tommy Cartwright, the late Billy Cartwright, the late Rosemary Hofer, David Nichols, the late Brian Nichols, and the late Russell Nichols. Would like to specially mention Lydia Alvarado, Kellie Murphy, and Carmen Alvarado as special friends.
Linda first worked as a foreman in a Socking Making Factory, from there she begun silk screening on scientific glassware. Linda was a School Bus Driver for Pittsgrove Township for many years until her retirement. She had a strong love for the water and anything to do with it, especially boats and fishing. One of her favorite things to do was spending the night on their boat. Along with the yearly Presidents Day Weekend trip to Montego Bay in Wildwood, NJ. Her favorite restaurant was the Lobster House in Cape May, NJ, where she would enjoy her meal out on the dock.
Linda had a big heart and a warm love for animals. She loved feeding the birds which even extended to feeding seagulls out of her hand. Throughout her lifetime Linda had many pets, even including a monkey which used to pull on the dogs ears. She had a green thumb and was very dedicated to her house plants. It was said that there was nothing Linda couldn’t do and she would do everything to perfection, even when she didn’t like to do it. She never took the easy way out or did anything half way. Louis stated “She was tough enough to tame the west and loving enough to always have your back. However, I her husband was the only one that was ever able to tame her, and I handled her with kid gloves.” Linda will be deeply missed by many, and forever be in their hearts.
Relatives and friends are invited to her graveside service on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at 2:00 PM at All Saints Cemetery, 1300 Tuckahoe Road, Newfield, NJ 08344. Services under the direction of the BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME. Sign the guestbook at BarclayFuneralHome.net.
