LAWRENCE ‘LARRY’ METZGER, JR. – Obituary
Lawrence “Larry” Metzger Jr., 59, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, passed away on June 14, 2020. Born in Camden, New Jersey, on May 19, 1961, Larry was a loving son, brother, father, and grandfather.
A Franklinville, NJ native, Larry was a 1979 graduate of Delsea Regional High School. Larry worked as a bartender at Bally’s Park Place in Atlantic City for about 20 years before moving to Florida in 2005.
Larry is survived by his daughter, Kristen Metzger; his grandson, Dante Ciesielski; his mother, Mary Ann (nee Matousch) Owens (husband, Edward, predeceased); his father, Lawrence Sr. (Linda) of Elmer; his brother, Richard (Donna) of Pittsgrove; his sister, Mary Anne of Pittsgrove; many aunts, uncles, nephews, his niece, great-nieces, and cousins. Larry was predeceased by Scott Freeman, his significant other.
A private service was held for Larry. A memorial service will be held at a later date to be determined by his family.
