KENNETH EAYRE MOORE – Obituary
Kenneth Eayre Moore, 81, of Upper Pittsgrove, passed away on November 18, 2018. Born in Elmer, he was the son of the late Eayre and Edna (Zulker) Moore. Ken was a 1956 graduate of Clayton High School and went on to serve in the U.S. Navy Reserve. He spent 30 years working for Hungerford and Terry Water Treatment Systems in Clayton from which he retired in 2002 as well as worked part-time on his farm throughout his career and after retirement. In his down time, Ken loved to work on scale model antique gas engines and tractors. He was also a devout member of the Malaga United Methodist Church.
Ken is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Vicky Moore; his daughter Sandy Cheesman (fiancé Bob Cornatzer) of Vineland; his sons Mike Nefferdorf of Apple Valley, CA and John Nefferdorf (Mona) of Baltimore, MD; grandchildren Meghan, Ryan, Heather, Justin, Jared, Matthew, Logan, Emma, Brandon and Aiden; great grandson Jaxon and a great granddaughter on the way.
A memorial service to celebrate Ken’s life will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the Malaga United Methodist Church, 91 Old Delsea Drive, Malaga, NJ 08328 with a visitation from 11 AM to 12 PM followed by the service at 12 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ken’s memory to the Malaga United Methodist Church. www.adamsfuneralhome.org
