JUNE E. MILLER (nee Harvey) – Obituary

June E. Miller (nee Harvey) on Thursday, March 30, 2017.  Age 78.  Wife of 32 years to Steven L. Miller.  Mother of Gary G. Mills and Deborah L. (William) Coffin.  Step-mother of Tammy (Shawn) Auman, Douglas Miller, and Dawn (Jason) Kehl.  Grandmother of Nicole Mack, Jason Mills, Billy Coffin, Jessie Coffin, Joseph Coffin, Hunter Auman, Ben Kehl, Grace Kehl, and Samantha Kehl.  Great-grandmother of 9.  Sister of Mary Keenan.  Daughter of the late August M. and Jessie May (nee Beaty) Harvey.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, June has been a resident of Franklinville since 1952.  She attended Clayton High School as a member of the class of 1956 and worked in Quality Control for 17 years at National Fruit in Glassboro and later for 24 years at Casa diBertacchi in Vineland before her retiring in 2001.  June was a member of The Women of the Moose in Woodstown and liked to fish and travel.  She especially enjoyed cooking and feeding everyone.  June loved to dance and in her younger years could often be found dancing on American Bandstand.  Family was the most important thing to her, and they remember her as a feisty and very well loved.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME, 208 Maple Street, Clayton, NJ 08312.  Funeral service at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.  Interment Manahath Cemetery, Glassboro.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in June’s memory to her favorite charity, Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.  Sign the guest book and send condolences at BarclayFuneralHome.net.
