JUNE DORIS LAMB- Obituary
June Doris Lamb (nee Elder) of Franklinville passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022. Age 72. Wife of 12 years to Lorenza Laray Lamb, Jr. Mother of Dennis Piliro (Karen) and David Piliro (Cheryl). Stepmother of Kimberly Kershaw (Thomas); Lorenza L. Lamb, III (Akta); Megan Lamb (Bryan Rowland); and Laura Bortner (Brian). Grandmother of 16. Sister of Janice Spartiatis (Peter), Louise Elder, Ron Elder, Bob Elder (Jane), William Elder (Nancy), Deborah Elder, John Elder, and Kenneth Repsher (Daeng). Daughter of the late Nelson Powell & Irene Amelia (nee Repsher) Elder.
Born in Camden and raised in Gloucester City where she attended Gloucester City High School, June was an 18-year resident of Maple Shade and most recently a resident of Franklinville for the past 13 years. She worked as a Security Guard at Solvay Solexis in Thorofare from 1993 until her retirement in 2016.
June loved animals, especially cats, and often donated to Alley Cat Allies and the Humane Society. She enjoyed bird watching and would feed them daily to bring them in for closer viewing. June did a lot of traveling, including trips to the Outer Banks, and loved going on cruises. She enjoyed going to Blues concerts and loved all things, Elvis.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and again on Thursday, November 10, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME, 208 Maple Street, Clayton, NJ 08312. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11:45 AM at the R.C. Church of the Nativity, 2677 Delsea Drive, Franklinville, NJ 08322. Interment at All Saints Cemetery, Franklin Township.
