JOHN WAYNE CONOVER – Obituary

John Wayne Conover on Wednesday, November 21, 2018.  Age 67.  Husband of 20 years to Mary Ann (nee Glaspey) Conover.  Brother of Cathy Conover Jillard, David Allen (Melissa) Conover, and Michael Gregory Conover.  Uncle to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.  Son of the late John Burroughs and Doris June (nee Deschler) Conover.  Also survived by Dallas, Scotchie, Pepper, and Cinnamon.

Born in Camden and a lifelong resident of Clayton, John was a 1969 graduate of Clayton High School and attended Glassboro State College to study Physical Education.  He worked as a boilermaker for Mobil Oil and Monsanto and later was a truck driver for 13 years with Ramstone Logistics until his retirement in 2015.  John was an avid deer hunter who enjoyed listening to country music, bowling, and camping with his wife and their dogs.  He was a simple man with a good sense of humor who enjoyed life.  Mary Ann considered John a wonderful husband and a happy soul.
