JOHN R. FLYNN – Obituary
John R. Flynn of Columbus, NJ, formerly of Clayton, NJ, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2020, at the age of 85. Loving father of Shari Flynn (Jim Karan) of Mt. Rainer, MD; Kathy Leedom (Jim) of Columbus, NJ; Molly Kaldrovics (Steve) of Mt. Holly; Maggie Flynn of Mt. Royal; and the late Dennis Flynn (Shannon). Dear brother of William Flynn (Merrie) of Cape May, NJ; George “Bud” Flynn and Harry Flynn both of New Smyrna Beach, FL. Loving grandfather of Andrew, Matthew, Neil, Katie, Kylee, Zoey, Athena, Riley, Kaine, and Autumn and great-grandfather of Brooke.
John was a 1952 graduate of Glassboro High School, a proud veteran from the US Army, and was retired from ExxonMobil in Paulsboro where he worked for over 30 years. John enjoyed fishing, birding, and watching sports. He will be sadly missed.
