JIM ANDREW SCHNEEMAN – Obituary
Jim Andrew Schneeman on Tuesday, June 11, 2019. Age 75. Beloved Husband of 41 years to the late Pamela (nee West) Schneeman. Devoted Father of Jim A. (Jennifer) Schneeman II, of Cinnaminson, NJ and Erika (nee Schneeman) (Kenneth) Ressler of Cary, NC. Loving Grandfather of Jim Andrew “Drew” Schneeman III, Matthew Schneeman, Olivia Ressler, Caroline Ressler, Molly Ressler, and Kenny Ressler. Son of the late Albert J. “Jim” and Esther E. (nee Hart) Schneeman. Brother of Gretchen (nee Schneeman) Ashworth. Born in Maple Shade and raised in Clayton, Jim was a 1962 graduate of Clayton High School and was recently inducted into the Clayton High School Hall of Fame for Football. He went on from high school to earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from West Virginia Wesleyan College in 1966. While there, Jim was a member of Theta Chi Fraternity, Captain of the football team, and a member of the track & field team including being the state record holder in Discus. During his senior year, he was drafted by the Houston Oilers NFL Team. Jim met Pamela West, the love of his life, while at West Virginia Wesleyan, and they married later in 1966. Together they lived in various cities across the US including; Magnolia, NJ; Haddonfield, NJ; Pittsburgh, PA; Matthews, NC; and Shamong, NJ before returning to Clayton in 2000. Jim retired in 2009, after a lifelong, successful career as a Salesman in Publishing. He was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman, a member of the Elks Club, and a lifetime member of United States Power Squadron.
