Jill Lyn Stubbs-Washington of Franklinville passed away with her family by her side on December 30, 2021 at the age of 60. She was a devoted wife of 30 years to Todd B. Washington and loving mother of Lee J. Washington, Austin J. Washington (girlfriend Kristie L. Smith), and Jacklyn M. Washington. Daughter of the late John “Jack” Stubbs and the late Mary Ricciardelli (nee Sheeran). Step-daughter of the late Rick Ricciardelli, Sr. Sister of Rick M. Ricciardelli, Jr. (Sandy). Aunt to multiple nieces and nephews. She is also survived by many extended family members and numerous friends who she viewed as her family.
Jill was many things to many people: a best friend, sister, aunt, sister-in-law, and boss, but her two favorite titles were wife and mom. Todd and her three children were her world, and her favorite thing was spending time with them traveling and having family game nights. You could frequently find her at a slot machine in the casinos or shopping at Hobby Lobby. To know Jill was to love her, and she will be deeply missed by so many.
Born in Woodbury, NJ and raised in Fort Lauderdale, FL; Jill has been a resident of South Jersey for the past 40 years. She was a 1979 graduate of South Plantation High School in Plantation, FL and was currently the third-generation owner and president of the family business started by her grandfather, Delsea Marble & Granite, Inc. located in Clayton, NJ.
